Aline Brosh McKenna most recently wrote and executive produced “The Devil Wears Prada 2,” which opened #1 in the world when it premiered and won widespread critical acclaim. Her 2006 adaptation of “The Devil Wears Prada” garnered her Writers Guild, BAFTA, and Scripter award nominations. The two movies combined have grossed over a billion dollars.

In 2023, Aline made her feature film writing/directing debut with “Your Place or Mine” on Netflix, starring Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher. The movie was produced by Lean Machine and was number one upon its release in the US and 92 other countries, remained in the top ten for 50 days and is still one of the most successful romantic comedies to air on the streamer.

In television, Aline co-created the Emmy, Golden Globe and Critics Choice winning series “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” with Rachel Bloom, also produced by Lean Machine. Aline served as showrunner and directed the finale episodes of all four seasons of the show, which ran from 2014 to 2019.

McKenna’s other film credits include "27 Dresses,” starring Katherine Heigl; "Morning Glory," starring Rachel McAdams and Harrison Ford; the Cameron Crowe-directed "We Bought a Zoo” and the 2021 Disney film, “Cruella.”
